Do I need to bring my I.D. to my appointment?
YES! The rules state clients must present a valid, government-issued, positive identification card, which includes a photograph and the date of birth. Several types of identification commonly seen include a driver's license, passport, military identification and Department of Public Safety-issued ID cards.
Do I have to be 18 years (or older) to get a tattoo?
A client must be a minimum of 18 years of age and shall present at the time of tattooing or body piercing a valid, government issued, positive identification card including, but not limited to, a driver's license, passport, or military identification. The identification must contain a photograph of the individual and a printed date of birth.
